Delicious fresh food, at a good price. Their homemade ciabatta is very good. The staff makes you feel welcome even in their "fast food" style establishment. And take out comes out quickly and warm.
I came here with some friends after work and was having a rough day due to some health issues. The staff was very kind and attentive, Tiffany especially was very sweet to all of us!! I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the veggie salad! It tasted great and was a decent price considering I had so much leftover.
This location was my first introduction to Urbane Cafe and I have been hooked ever since. I love the salads, sandwiches, soups and bowls. I have never been disappointed with anything I have ever ordered at any location. The staff here is very friendly and the wait time for your order isn't bad. There is seating inside and outside which is nice on a warm day. You order at the counter, pay, they give you a number and when it's ready they bring it to you. I love using their app so I can order ahead and it's ready when I arrive. I loooove Urbane! Their salads and sandwiches are so good and fresh and easy to digest! We tried this place when jt popped up here in NoHo West and have been obsessed with the antioxidant salad (out of season now). The place and people are so cute. It's hard to find salad places worth your moneys or that dont skimp, so Urbane is my go to when wanting to "detox" or eat out but feel lighter. CANT wait for the antioxidant salad to be back!!
With everything happening in the political landscape, I had a REALLY hard day yesterday and was met with an intentional act of compassion from the most angelic young lady. I've never been to Urbane Cafe before but something told me to go in yesterday and I was met with the most radiant smile I've seen in a while. She asked how my day was going and all I could say was "shitty". I didn't really expect much after that and just wanted to grab my food and go. She then handed me a cookie and said "things will get better". I immediately started crying because that's all I wanted to hear. The warmness of how I felt walking into the restaurant that day will be engrained in my memory forever. The food was amazing, but the experience was priceless. That exchange itself was all I need to get through the rest of the month, but the notes she wrote on my food containers, will help me get through the rest of the year. To Nicole, I want to say thank you. Thank you for your compassion and for your smile. I pray that your light never dims because you will shine on SO many more.
